Dr. Suzanne Robinson Davis, a seasoned public health and program management powerhouse with two decades of experience.

Suzanne Robinson Davis, Ed.D, MPhil, MSc

Dr. Suzanne Robinson Davis is a seasoned public health and programme management professional who has accumulated a wealth of experience in a wide range of programme and project settings. With a focus on the health sector, she has become a leading expert in program design, development, and implementation; research studies; proposal writing and grant management; quality improvement; partnership development and working with minority and key populations.

Suzanne’s academic achievements underscore her exceptional capabilities. She earned her doctorate from the prestigious Columbia University, Teachers College, where her groundbreaking research showcased her unique talents. Further enhancing her expertise, Suzanne obtained two post-master’s certificates from NYU, along with dual master’s degrees from Stellenbosch University in South Africa and the University of London. Her academic journey began with an undergraduate degree from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill.


Suzanne stands out by leveraging these abilities through superb people-skills to complete project goals.  She is a servant-leader and advocate who sets the standard by her own actions and never asks her team to do things that she is not willing to do herself or help them to complete.  She is generous with her time in coaching staff to set them up to succeed, and she always shares credit with her entire team.

Suzanne is an exceptional talent who has excelled in programme design, development and implementation placing an emphasis on a collaborative, partnership-based approach. She led her team to gain recognition from the US Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) for stellar performance in monitoring and data reporting. Not only has she built up a repertoire of preparing national and organizational reporting, building capacity for Quality Improvement, and assessing systemic structures for improved health outcomes but has written grants that has awarded her agencies over 1 million dollars.

She has global expertise. Her work experience ranges from government to civil society, private sector to international organisations. She has done work for WHO/PAHO, a federally qualified health center (USA), the ILO (South Africa), Ministry of Health and Wellness (Jamaica), Caribbean Health Research Council (Belize), National Family Planning Board (Jamaica), Project Hope Charities (USA), University of California, San Francisco (UCSF)/Caribbean Vulnerable Communities Coalition (Jamaica), Caribbean Training & Education Center for Health (C-TECH) among others.

She is passionate about expanding health equity by leveraging quality improvement initiatives to address systemic disparities and improve health outcomes in underserved communities. Suzanne has not neglected her volunteer positions and continues to serve as a Director for Jamaica Community of Positive Women (JCW+) and has also volunteered with various charities and organisations serving vulnerable populations across the world.
